CRU’s primary objective is to provide additional underwriting capacity to take on the growing demand for catastrophe exposed risk.
Launched in 2007 to provide underwriting management and administrative services to the insurance industry, CRU operates as managing general agent with surplus lines capabilities in 48 states. Commercial and residential coastal property insurance programs are available in 18 states.
CRU’s state-of-the-art risk management tools and patent-pending technology enables insurance companies, agents and brokers to better manage catastrophe exposures, while analyzing and scoring business in real-time.
With offices in New York and Tampa, CRU offers specialized property insurance programs to owners of small commercial business and high-value dwellings in coastal areas.
