Coastal Risk Underwriters, LLC (CRU) is a Program Manager and Wholesale Broker providing specialty personal and commercial property and casualty insurance products on an admitted and surplus lines basis.
Launched in 2006, CRU now provides residential and commercial property insurance products in 18 states. Programs are typically distributed via a network of independent agents and retail brokers.
CRU uses state-of-the-art risk management tools and patent-pending technology (developed by its parent company and affiliates) that enable insurance companies, agents and brokers to select and price risks carefully and better manage catastrophe exposures.
CRU has offices in New York, Mount Laurel, New Jersey and Tallahassee. Coastal Risk Underwriters, LLC is a member company of the Insight Catastrophe Group (“ICG”).
